The Town of Penetanguishene invites all residents to attend the upcoming 2026 Budget Consultation sessions on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. These sessions offer a valuable opportunity for community members to hear directly from Town representatives about the draft municipal budget, ask questions, and share their thoughts on financial priorities that matter most to them.

Two in-person sessions will be held to accommodate varying schedules:

    1. The first session will take place at 3:00 PM at the Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre (Arena)
    2. The second session will be held at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.

In addition to presentations and open discussion, residents will be invited to participate in a creative and interactive activity. Upon arrival, each attendee will receive a set of “Penetanguishene Dollars” — a playful version of Monopoly-style money — which they can allocate to various budget categories displayed at the event. This hands-on exercise will help staff visually capture community priorities and better understand where residents would like to see investments made.
