Festival of Lights 2026 - Friday, December 4, 2026

5:00 - 5:30 pm: Town Dock Tree Lighting, Town Dock, 2 Main Street* Tree lit at 5:30 pm

Join the Town of Penetanguishene for a Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Penetanguishene Town Dock. The Tree Lighting activities will begin at 5:00 PM. Following the tree lighting, community members are invited visit the arena for additional activities.

5:30 - 7:30 PM: Activities at the Arena - Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre, 61 Maria Street

NEW THIS YEAR! Glo-Ho-Ho Glow-in-the-Dark Kids Party!

Kids, come dressed in your brightest glow gear, LED accessories, or black-light reactive clothing and enjoy a glowing evening of dancing, games, and holiday fun!

Prizes will be awarded to the 2 kids with the most creative glow-in-the-dark outfits!

The arena will be buzzing with activities for all ages, including:

Visits with Santa
Glo-Ho-Ho Glow-in-the-Dark Kids Party with interactive performers leading dances, special hoops performance, games, and activities
Public Skating
Face Painting
Photo Booth with Instant Prints
A special live musical performance inspired by a Disney favourite
Crafts & Goodies
Strolling Christmas Performers
Free Hot Chocolate and cookies
