A draft streetscape design for Peel Street is being presented at an upcoming Public Information Centre on Wednesday, November 26 at 7:00 p.m. hosted in Council Chambers located at 10 Robert Street West. The draft streetscape design is based on existing conditions, guidance through Town policies, and feedback received at Public Information Centre #1 in April 2025.
The upcoming Public Information Centre will include a brief presentation as well as an opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions concerning the draft streetscape design.
The draft design will be posted on the Town's website for review, following the Public Information Centre.

The Town of Penetanguishene is hosting a Public Information Centre to obtain feedback on the streetscape design of Peel Street from Robert Street East to Simcoe Street. The purpose of the Public Information Centre is to introduce the project and to obtain your feedback on a new streetscape design for Peel Street.
Date: Wednesday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m.
Location: Council Chambers (2nd floor of Town Hall), 10 Robert Street West, Penetanguishene.
Agenda:
7:00 p.m. Sign in and review display boards.
7:15 – 7:30 p.m. Presentation from Town.
7:30 – 8:00 p.m. Review display boards, provide input, ask questions.

- Market Gap Analysis
- Community Design Manual
- Official Plan
- Age Friendly Plan
- Zoning By-law
The existing conditions of Peel Street have been documented for reference throughout the project.
