  February 8th-19th, 2021

  Submit both a photo/video and recipe of your favourite Winterama dish, and we will share it with the community on the Museum Facebook & Instagram, Winterama Facebook page and event, and https://www.connectpenetanguishene.ca/winterama-2021.

  To submit your recipe please include both a photo of you with your finished recipe plus the recipe. Or you may choose to submit a short video of you making your recipe plus the recipe. Please email your submission to museum@penetanguishene.ca

  Note: We will be accepting submissions beginning January 13, 2021 and will post them between the dates of February 8-19th 2021

  Winterama 5km your way!

  Between February 1 and February 20 race a 5KM route!

  This event pushes families and individuals to get outdoors and explore our community safety! You can register for the race here: https://top.recdesk.com/Community/Program?category=6

  What is the Virtual Winterama 5km?

  The Virtual Winterama 5km is about getting active and having fun. To complete the 5km, you can run, walk, treadmill, snowshoe, cross country ski, or bike from any location you choose. Everyone who completes the Winterama 5km will receive a medal. Doing this event virtually gives you the freedom to complete own route on your own time all while being a part of something bigger.

  How To Submit Your Time:

  Complete the virtual Winterama 5km by February 20^th and submit your time by emailing events@penetanguishene.ca.

  Printable Virtual Winterama 5km Bib : Fill out the Virtual Winterama 5km Bib with your name and print to wear it for you 5km! (not required)

  Button Design Requirements:

  Winterama is in search of a button design for 2021! The deadline for submissions is JANUARY 6th. Completed designs and any questions can be sent to events@penetanguishene.ca

  Designs must include:

  • 73rd Winterama
  • Penetanguishene
  • Must have a depiction of Winterama mascots Millie & Willie

  Submissions must be in either: EPS files or Adobe illustrator. JPG files are not accepted. The design must fit on a 2-inch button

  The Town reserves the right to decline any submissions that do not respectfully depict Winterama or Penetanguishene.
