Commuter Challenge 2023

When we Ride Run, Roll or Walk, we reduce our carbon emissions, improve our moods, supercharge our health and fitness, and make North Simcoe more Commuter Friendly.

Winning Categories:

Grand Prize for Participation: GARMIN WATCH: Names will be submitted into a draw and selected at random. The more days that you participate = the more times your name is included in the draw.

Prize for the most unique transportation method: $200 gift card to Total Sports the Bike Shop: This will be selected through the Photo Participation submissions by staff.

Prize for Distance: $200 gift card to Total Sports the Bike Shop: This will be awarded to the participant that collects the most kilometers during the week.

Specific to Municipal Staff: The Town of Penetanguishene has challenged Tay, Midland, and Tiny to encourage staff participation! The municipality with the least number of staff participation will have to wear the town shirts of the winning municipality for one day!

The winners will be announced on September 18th, 2023. The contest is only open to those registered for the Commuter Challenge via RecDesk. The registration link can be found under important links.
