No wake channel markers

We need to impress upon the Federal Government the importance of no wake signs. The safety of boaters and erosion of the shoreline are at risk. Redevelopment of this land will be wasted if people do not feel safe visiting.

Nautical theme for dock and main st. Bring in an annual event like the Wharf Rat Rally in Digby Nova Scotia (check impact study).

Paint fire hydrants to look like fisherman or Dicovery Harbour sailors. Think outside the box.

Good signage

Have good signage at waterfront that will entice “water visitors” to walk through the park and downtown eg historic trails, dog park, Pub/restaurant, Gift shops, water park 1 km

Development of Town Dock

Launch ramp is necessary

Like the forward thinking and creativity but seems like a launch ramp would be a MUST for the numerous local boaters. Our current ramp is already one of the best in the province. No ramp would be no good.

Plan all buildings to be set back from the water. Waterfront & water Access is for people, not structure.

Keep waterfront unobstructed.

Like the idea of making it a part of rotary park , but the boat ramp is a vital part of our town . 8 parking spaces is no where

Need for boat ramp / parking

Georgian queen

Move the Georgian queen closer to the office so when we sit in our boat we can see up the bay also the tourist will see our nice bay area

Create a Boardwalk style of walkway on the water side of the Sewage Plant. This will tie the Dock area to the rest of the Rotary Park.
